Actor Mammootty came in person to congratulate Oommen Chandy on his 79th birthday. Mammootty was received at Aluva Palace by Oommen Chandy and his family members. Producer Anto Joseph was also with Mammootty.
Mammootty also wished Oommen Chandy, who is preparing to go to Germany for treatment, to get well soon. Mammootty returned after sharing old memories.
Oommen Chandy said that there have been changes in his voice since 2015, but this time it has lasted for so many days. It has been informed that Oommen Chandy will go to Germany as soon as he gets his visa and is admitted to the hospital.

Chandi Oommen stated that they are planning to take him abroad for expert treatment. he added that the campaign that the family is obstructing the treatment is baseless. Chandy Oommen said that the family is very sad because of the false propaganda. He asked those spreading such false propaganda to withdraw from it and adopt a humanitarian approach.
Meanwhile, Mammootty is currently acting in the film Kathal. The film is directed by Jeo Baby and features Jyothika as the heroine. Kathal is Jyothika's Malayalam film after 12 years. Rorschach is Mammootty's last released film. The actor played the role of Luke Anthony in the film directed by Nizam Basheer. The Mammootty films awaiting release are Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam, Agent and Christopher.
