Mammootty will be seen in the role of a policeman in the new movie Cristopher, which is about to hit theaters. The film Christopher, is directed directed by B. Unnikrishnan. Reports indiate that Mammootty will be seen in a police uniform in his first film of the new year as well. It is the debut film of young cinematographer Robbie Varghese Raj as a director. According to a new report, the shooting of the film will begin on January 1.
Leading trade analyst Sridhar Pillai has informed us about this through Twitter. He also informed them that the puja ceremonies for the film will be held on December 26. This is Mammootty's 421st film in his career. Mammootty himself is producing the film. This is Mammootty's fourth film under the Mammootty Kamapany banner. Other films produced by Mammootty Kampany are Lijo Jose Pellissery's Nankapal Nerathu Mayakkam, Nizam Basheer's Rorschach, and Jeo Baby's Kathal.
Meanwhile, B Unnikrishnan's Christopher, starring Mammootty, is a thriller. With the tag line "Biography of a Vigilante Cop," Christopher is produced by RD Illuminations LLP. The screenplay of the film is written by Udayakrishna. Apart from Amala Paul, the film has three heroines, namely Sneha and Aishwarya Rai. South Indian actor Vinay Rai also plays an important role in the film. Along with Dileesh Pothan, and Siddique; thirty-five new faces are also playing roles in the film. The film will release in theatres as a Christmas release.
