Venu Sriram who was supposed to direct a film with Stylish Star Allu Arjun is now gearing up to helm the megaphone for Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's comeback film which is the remake of Hindi blockbuster Pink
From the past few days, it is being heard that Hindi hit film Pink is going to be remade in Telugu with Venu Sriram of MCA fame directing it. Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor will jointly produce the project. Now, we hear that Pawan Kalyan will play the lead role in this courtroom drama. Venu was actually supposed to the film Icon with Allu Arjun.
But apparently, Bunny told Venu to finish Pink remake and told him to start Icon later. Thus, the director signed the 'Pink' remake. It seems that Pawan has already allotted 20 days of call sheets for the film and if everything goes as planned, the film will start rolling very soon.
Pink recently got remade into Tamil as Nerkonda Paarvai with Ajith as the lead. The mass persona of Ajith helped the movie to cater to the large scale of the audience and became a hit over there. Now, the makers are hoping that the image of Pawan will help this social drama to go into more sections of the people. Pawan was last seen in the 2018 film Agnyathavaasi.
