'Nuvvu Vastavani' is a Telugu super hit film starring Akkineni Nagarjuna. Touted to be a romantic drama, V. R. Prathap is helming this project. Written by Ezhil, Simran played the female lead in the movie. The film was a big hit during that time because of the audio album. The audio of the movie created a huge sensation. The film is the Telugu remake of the 1999 Tamil film 'Thulladha Manamum Thullum' starring Vijay and Simran. S. A. Rajkumar composed tunes for the film which got released on 5th April 2000.
It has been 20 years since the release of the movie and recorded as one of the biggest blockbusters at the box office. The fans have been sharing some of the pictures and videos from the film on the internet. The film showcased Nagarjuna as Chinni, a singer who falls in love with Indu (Simran). But, a fatal accident makes Indu lose her eyesight, and Chinni takes care of her. The film is one of the biggest musical blockbusters in Tollywood as well as in Nagarjuna's career.
R. B. Choudary, under Super Good Films, bankrolled this project. On the other hand, Nagarjuna is currently busy with his upcoming movie 'Wild Dog' whereas Simran has been staying away from Tollywood lately. Simran is doing a lot of Tamil films and she is in talks to begin a big project in Kollywood now. Let us hope that Simran makes a comeback to Tollywood again soon.
