On the occasion of National Handloom Day, several actresses have shared photos of them posing in handloom outfits. Rakul Preet Singh took to her social media to share a photo of her dressed in a stunning off-white handloom saree paired with a white blouse. Rakul also wore a lovely pair of jhumkas to accessorize the stunning saree. Rakul joined a sea of actresses who celebrated the occasion. Samantha Akkineni, Anushka Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Keerthy Suresh, Pooja Hegde, Lakshmi Manchu and many more showed their appreciation for handloom outfits today! The Government of India proposed to celebrate National Handloom Day on August 7th every year. The occasion aims to promote the use of handloom products. Several celebrities have invited their fans to be "vocal for local."

On the work front, Rakul is all set to appear in an array of films. Rakul will next appear in a comedy film starring Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra. The film titled Thank God will hit the theatres in May next year. Rakul will also be starring in the most anticipated sequel to Kamal Haasan's hit 1996 film Indian. She will be appearing opposite John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez in the Bollywood film Attack.
