The much-anticipated nine-film anthology Navarasa launched on Netflix on Friday, August 6. Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan collaborated on the Tamil film. Rathindran Prasad, Arvind Swami, Bejoy Nambiar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sarjun KM, Priyadarshan, Karthick Naren, Karthik Subbaraj, and Vasanth are the directors of each of the short films. Twitter reviews are suggesting that the anthology is one of the best works from the Tamil industry.
Meanwhile many praised Project Agni for its nuance making and execution. Many fans expressed their admiration for Suriya's Guitar Kambi Mele Nindru on Twitter. Gautham Menon directed the film. the film focuses on the emotion of love.

Each of the episodes focuses on one emotion from nine Navarasa. Starting from Shringara (love/beauty), Hasya (laughter), Karuna(sorrow), Raudra (anger), Veera (heroism/courage), Bhayanaka (terror/fear), Bibhatsa (disgust), Adbutha (surprise/wonder), Shantha (peace or tranquillity) are included in the anthology film. Suriya, Prakash Raj, Vijay Sethupathi, Rohini, Parvathi, and Prayaga Martin play major roles. Revathi, Gautam Menon, Siddharth, and Yogi Babu also play important roles in the film.
