Whatever songs are nominated in the Oscar's Best Original Song category are usually performed live at the event. Fans had huge hopes that Naatu Naatu would be performed live by NTR and Ram Charan at this year's Oscars. Insiders have now revealed that this is not the case and that music director MM Keeravani will be performing the song live at the international film awards. There's no clarity over whether or not Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj will perform with Keeravani. Kaala Bhariava and Rahul Sipligunj are the singers of the original song.

 
Naatu Naatu is the first Indian song to ever be nominated in the Best Original Song category at the Oscars. There are huge expectations that the song would win the Oscar. This year's Oscars are set to take place on 12th March. Naatu Naatu won the Golden Globe award for Best Original Song in January, which was another first for Indian cinema.
 
Rajamouli's RRR turned out to be a global sensation, with the performances, story, and filmmaking style having been appreciated by everyone. Thanks to the kind of love and appreciation the film received internationally, the film managed to go to the Oscars.
 
RRR features NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitaramaraju, respectively. Alia Bhatt is the leading lady in this film, along with Olivia Morris. Hollywood actors Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody are also a part of the film. Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran were seen in key roles.
