Just like her fans Parineeti Chopra cannot wait for the release of her Netflix film, The Girl on the Train. The film is set for release on 26th February. The film stars Parineeti as a murder suspect while she deals with grief and her crippling alcoholism. Even before the film’s release Parineeti has said that she believes this will be a landmark film in her career. She said, “I may do 300 films in my life, I don’t know, but this will be the landmark film in my head, because it changed me, it made me who I am at this moment. It was not just acting, I was doing something else. I had gone into a trance.”
The actress has also urged everyone to not spoil the film’s ending so that more people could experience it for themselves. Chopra also revealed that the film has helped her better understand her own skills. She said, “Now after reading a script if I feel the role is too hard for me then I will grab it. Earlier I was literally saying ‘yes’ to any film coming my way. Then it became repetitive and I didn’t realise that and by then two to three years had passed, so now I am glad that I have gotten this awakening.”
Parineeti also revealed that in the Hollywood version of the film Emily Blunt would take a few shots of drinks before going on the film’s set. However, parineeti admitted that she did not do the same as she would not be able to act while she was drunk.
