After 'Baahubali', Rana Daggubati has been signing up very unique projects with very different characterisations. His 'Haathi Mere Saathi', about the relationship of man with elephants and conflict with the society is all set for the release. Currently, he is busy with 'Virata Parvam', directed by Venu Udugula. This film deals with the revolt on the government and Naxalism. Along with Rana, Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead, while Priyamani was roped in to play an important role. In a recent interaction with Klapboard, she spoke about this film.
"'Virata Parvam' will be a very important socialistic film. Venu Udugula has been doing great work both as a writer and director. He was actually an ad for 'Pellaina Kotthalo', and he reminded me of that and also shared a photograph of him with me. I will be playing the role of 'Bharathakka', an ambitious soldier of the forest. The response to my look, which was released on my birthday was, glorious. Our whole team was happy with the response received for it and it shall be the same with the film too. You all might end up hating Bharathakka, but for sure will appreciate Priyamani" said Priyamani.
Suresh Bobbili is composing the music for the film. There are another 10 days of the shoot left, said the director.
