Now, Pinni is all set to return with its second season called Pinni 2. The broadcaster Gemini TV announced the news by releasing the song with new visuals.
Pinni 2 retains most of its original cast. While Radhika essayed the lead role, Ponvannan played the role of her husband. Nandhan Loganathan and Preethi Sharma got added to the lead cast of the second season. The recurring cast of the serial includes Meera Vasudevan, Uma Padmanabhan, Rupini, Jeeva Ravi and SN Parvathi.
Pinni 2 will be the dubbed version of Chithi 2. Already, the Tamil version got aired in Tamil Nadu and received a phenomenal response from the viewers. It became the third most-watched Tamil television program in its opening week with 8220 million impressions. It is the first TV serial to achieve the feat. Even now, it is topping the Tamil television charts every week. The makers are hoping that the Telugu version will also get a similar reception for the audience.
