Three years ago, Rahul Ravindran made his debut as a director with Sushanth and Ruhani Sharma's Chi La Sow, which even won the National Award for Best Original Screenplay. He then directed Nagarjuna's Manmadhudhu 2, which received a lukewarm response. Now, Rahul Ravindran is now back to acting. He has two acting projects in his kitty. He is a part of Nani's Shyama Singha Roy and the Tamil remake of The Great Indian Kitchen. In a recent interview, he shared his thoughts about getting back to acting and his role in The Great Indian Kitchen.
Rahul Ravindran said, "I play Aiswarya Rajesh's husband in the film and it's a wonderful role. I absolutely loved the original so it;s great to be part of its remake. I am just enjoying this phase of being on sets purely as an actor. Acting is such a stress-free job. I mean, of course, it's physically demanding, but mentally it's very stress-free and I'm loving every minute of it. I used the time during the lockdown last year to work on a script and I am happy with the way it has shaped up. I am going to be starting working soon."
