After the likes of KGF: Chapter 1 and Avane Srimannarayana, the Kannada film industry is going to witness another magnum opus soon. Titled Raja Veera Madakari Nayaka, the shoot of this film went on floors on February 10. Challenging Star Darshan is playing the lead role in it. The makers have shot the first schedule in the forest areas of Kerala. The second schedule will happen in the Ramoji Film City of Hyderabad. The shoot was actually supposed to start by now but got postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. The team is now planning to start the Hyderabad schedule at the end of April.
The makers have also planned for an extensive schedule in Rajasthan. It will only happen after the second schedule wraps up in Hyderabad. The film revolves around the legendary Kannada rule Raja Madakari Nayaka. It is being bankrolled by star producer Rockline Venkatesh under the banner Rockline Entertainments.
Senior actress Sumalatha is playing an important role in the film. We heard that actress Ramya got approached for the female lead role but she is yet to sign the project. Directed by Rajendra Singh Babu, Madakari Nayaka will hit the screens in 2021.
Currently, Darshan is in Kutch to shoot a song in his upcoming film Robertt. Actually, the team wanted to shoot this song in Spain but later backed out due to the attack of coronavirus.
