Set against the pre-independence era of the 1920s, director Rajamouli is coming up with an interesting film now. Mega Powerstar Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR are playing the lead roles in the movie. This is Rajamouli's next film, right after Baahubali. Ram Charan plays Alluri Sitarama Raju in the film whereas NTR plays Komaram Bheem. The story that SS Rajamouli tells in the film is a fictitious story. Since the lockdown is in implementation, the makers postponed the shoot of their movie. But, the works related to the film are not going to stop anytime soon. As per the reports, both NTR and Charan are dubbing for the film in their home.
 
The sources from the film Nagar confirmed the news. Since the shoot for majority portions is wrapped up, both NTR and Ram Charan are currently dubbing the film from their homes. Amidst the lockdown, the actors started dubbing for RRR as they converted the mini-theatres at their residences into dubbing studios. Director Rajamouli, writer Madhan Karky is supervising the session through video calls.
 
The film also features Indian actors Ajay Devgn and Samuthirakani in key roles. The foreign actors like Olivia Morris, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson are essaying pivotal roles. DVV Danayya is producing the film with a budget of around 400 crores for the project. MM Keeravani is the music director of the movie. The film unit announced January 8, 2020, as the release date of the movie.
