Rana Daggubati comes in the rescue of Surabhi theatre group during this pandemic; donates them groceries in April and June

Surabhi theatre is one of the oldest surviving theaters in India. It is an exclusive Telugu theatre group which has a history of more than 135 years. Over the past decade, there is decline in the number of theatre audiences. This resulted in the downfall of Surabhi. However, they are trying hard to revive the old glory. Meanwhile, the coronavirus pandemic has affected them severely. Just like the film industry, even all the theatre plays got shut down. When there is no income for the Surabhi employees, the Rana Daggubati has come forward to help them. The Baahubali actor provided groceries for 150 families of Surabhi theatre group in April and June as well.

 
The Surabhi group member Surabhi Jayachandra Varma thanked Rana, Daggubati family and director Krish for being a support system for them during these tough times. He tweeted, "Thanks a lot to @RanaDaggubati garu for provided groceries to our Surabhi 150 families on April worth 3 lakhs and this June worth 2 Lakhs by Sri Ramanaidu Charitable trust & 1 lakh by @Shobu_, our Special Thanks to @VenkyMama@SureshProdns@DirKrish@ChaiBisket @KChiruTweets."
 
Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda also donated Rs. 1 lakh for Surabhi artists. Rana, Shobu and Krish made a film together called Krishnam Vande Jagadguram. This movie is set up in the backdrop of Surabhi theatre. Since then, they have developed a special love for the Surabhi group. Now, they proved their generosity by helping those families in these tough times.
