Actor Salman Khan has opened up about his desire to become a father. In a recent interview, the actor shared that he had once planned to have a child, but due to the laws in India, it was not possible. Salman's love for children is no secret as he is often seen spending time with his nieces and nephews. The actor's siblings, including sisters Arpita and Alvira, and brothers Sohail and Arbaaz, also have children of their own.
While discussing his plans for fatherhood, Salman said, "What to say, that was the plan. It wasn't for a daughter-in-law, it was for a child. But according to the Indian laws, it's not possible. Now we'll see what to do." The actor also commented on filmmaker Karan Johar being a father to two children and shared that he had attempted to do the same but was hindered by the law. However, he also stated that he loves children, but when they come, their mothers come too. Salman added that there are many mothers at his home, including the whole district and village, who would take good care of the child. However, he also joked that the child's real mother would be his wife.
Fans recently saw Salman in the action-packed film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which also stars Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, and others. Salman's next film is the highly anticipated action thriller Tiger 3, in which he will star alongside Katrina Kaif. The movie is set to release during the Diwali festivities in 2023.
