Actor Thambi Ramaiah has officially begun production on his upcoming directorial film, 'Raja Kili.' The film stars Samuthirakani in the lead role, and filming began on August 3 in Chennai following a Muhurat puja. Suveta Shrimpton and Miyashree Sowmya play the film's female leads.
MS Bhaskar, Pazha Karuppiah, Ilavarasu, Aadukalam Naren, Reshma, Deppa, and GP Muthu are among the other cast members. Samuthirakani and Thambi Ramaiah have previously worked together on several films, including 'Sattai,' 'Appa,' and 'Vinodhaya Sitham,' with 'Raja Kili' being their fourth.
In an interview with a news source, the director reportedly stated that the film is full of emotions and love. He added that the film is based on a man's biographical story and that his intention to direct the film is correct, and that he has always wanted to make a film that will leave an impression. According to reports, this is why Thambi Ramaiah is making his directorial comeback with 'Raja Kili.'
Thambi has previously directed Manu Needhi, Indiraogathil Na Azhagappan, and Maniyaar Kudumbam.
Suresh Kamatchi directed the film, which was shot by Gopinath and edited by Sundarsan. Dinesh will compose the music for the film. ‘Raja Kili’ is an important film for Thambi Ramaiah as he will be co-directing the film with his son Umapathy.
