The sudden demise of Rishi Kapoor shocked the nation last week. Right a day after Irrfan Khan passed away, Bollywood lost another legend. On Monday, Sanjay Dutt shared a throwback picture with Rishi Kapoor and mourned his death. In the picture, Sanjay can be seen hugging Rishi Kapoor on his right and his son Ranbir Kapoor on his left. He wrote, "One thing that Chintu Sir taught me was to always do things with a smile on our face! It's going to take some time to sink in that Chintu Sir is not with us anymore. He has always been an elder brother to me. Can't believe he is gone!"
 
Earlier Sanjay Dutt had written a heartfelt note for the late actor explaining how he helped him in his life. "Dear Chintu sir, You have been an inspiration to me throughout my life and career. You have taught me to live life to the fullest and to face life even when I was going through my low days. I had the honor to work with you in many films where you always guided me. Your fight against cancer has been long. But you never made me feel once that you were
 
Rishi Kapoor was struggling with a rare case of Cancer. He underwent treatment in New York and returned back last year when he got better. However, his health suddenly deteriorated and he succumbed to the disease last week.
