Selvaraghavan's Nenjam Marappathillai issue sorted

Director Selvaraghavan's Nenjam Marappathillai has been waiting for a clearance for a grand release for the past four years. The film's shooting was completed in June 2016 and since then it has been a rough road for the team as they encountered many financial struggles. In early February, director Selvaraghavan announced that the flm will release in theatres on March 5. However, due to the another last minute struggle, Madras High Court has issued an interim injunction. According to the latest update, the financial issue has been sorted now.

 
SJ Suryah, who plays the lead role in the film, took to social media to reveal that the financial issue has been sorted. He wrote, "Issue Between Radiance Media and Escape Artists is Sorted , just got cleared by the court THX A LOT TO ALL THE FANS WHO HAVE BEEN PRAYING AND WAITING FOR THIS RELEASE #NenjamMarapathillai NAMMA PADAM UNMAYAVE RELEASE AHUDHUNGA @selvaraghavan @thisisysr @Madan2791 @Arvindkrsna (sic)." The horror thriller also features Regina Cassandra and Nandita Sweta in the lead roles. Nenjam Marappathillai will now release in theatres on March 5 across Tamil Nadu.
