Shriya Saran Says She's Happy For RRR Team For Golden Globes Nominations

SS Rajamouli's RRR is making the entire world sit up and take notice of Indian cinema. The film starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan was released earlier this year and raked in over Rs 1200 crore. On October 21, RRR hit the theatres in Japan and is still having a great run at the box office. Now, RRR is sweeping awards left, right, and center in all the prestigious award ceremonies. The icing on the cake is when RRR was nominated in two categories at the Golden Globes 2023. RRR also features Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, and Alia Bhatt in supporting roles.

Post the Golden Globes 2023 nomination, Shriya Saran, who played a key role in the film shared her reaction. "I am very happy for (SS) Rajamouli, sir. He worked really hard on this film. Even before shooting the part that we were shooting, he had an asthma attack, but it didn't matter to him and he shot this part. It was beautifully shot and written, the part that I am in. I think everyone; (Ram) Charan, (Jr NTR) Tarak, and Alia (Bhatt), worked really hard and they looked really good. Even Ajay (Devgn) sir was just amazing. Just the whole story, the way he (Rajamouli) has written, the way he has directed it, he always has a larger-than-life vision, which is amazing, that he executes," she told IndiaToday.in
