Shruti Haasan Praises Prashanth Neel; Claims Prabhas Starrer Salaar Is One Of The Nicest, No-Nonsense Movies

Unquestionably, Salaar is among the most eagerly awaited movies of the year. It will be the first time Prabhas and KGF director Prashanth Neel have worked together. In the meantime, Shruti Haasan will be featured in the new movie as the female lead. Shruti said Salaar is one of the "nicest no-nonsense films" she has been a part of when discussing her experience.

All of this occurred during her conversation with Cinema Express. She was reportedly quoted, “Salaar is genuinely one of the nicest, no-nonsense, good-energy films I have been part of. I am so happy that one of my biggest projects is also one of my nicest experiences.”

The actress proceeded by praising Prashanth Neel. She said, “He is really big on creating worlds that are immersive, persuasive, and timeless at the same time. His characters are also well-written, they all play a role in moving the story forward. He is extremely relaxed and progressive in the way he treats people and is very comfortable to work with.”

For the uninitiated, Shruti took a break from acting. She was occupied with her gig as a singer in Europe throughout the break. The actress was approached for several films, including the most recent Telugu-language release Waltair Veerayya, not long after she made the decision to make a comeback. She is working on a global project called The Eye besides Salaar. An 80s-era dark psychological thriller is included in the Greek-British production.

The 36-year-old actress spoke on the same. She said, “There is no token feminism here. We did extensive rehearsals and workshops before going on floors, and we finished the shoot in a tight schedule of 35 days where I did not have so much as a fifteen-minute breather between shots.”

Returning to Salaar, it is predicted that it will be released by the end of 2023. It is described as a dystopian movie.
