On September 10th, the 10th South Indian International Movie Accolades (SIIMA) were held in Bangalore. Sivakarthikeyan's thriller movie "Doctor" also did well at the SIIMA Awards 2022. In a prominent role for the film "Doctor," Sivakarthikeyan got the Best Actor award. The award for the decade of excellence in south Indian film went to the Tamil actress Hansika Motwani. The Tovino Thomas-starring film "Minnal Murali" took home many awards, including Best Film and Best Actor in a Negative Role.
Tovino Thomas, a rising star in Mollywood, won the SIIMA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his work in the movies "Minnal Murali" and "Kala." The superhero film "Minnal Murali" by Basil Joseph also won the Malayalam section's best film award, and actor Guru Somasundaran received recognition for his performance in the film as the best actor in a negative role.
