Siju Wilson told in an interview that he has more confidence to do comedy roles. Siju Wilson said that JoJo in the film Premam is a character that has been improvised a lot. Siju also talked about a scene that is only available in the censored copy of Premam.
Siju Wilson says that he loves humor terribly. “I love humor terribly. I love watching movies with humor. I'm a person that jokes and beats the shit out. That’s why I find it a little easier to do humorous characters. Looking at the first few movies, the humor is handled. There is a little bit of confidence in humor. Because I'm sure I can make people laugh with me;” said Siju Wilson.
Siju also said that director Alphonse Puthren had a clear idea about the character Jojo. “Alphonse had written about Jojo in Premam. He had also told me to do any improvisation that stood out inside the character;” said Siju Wilson. Siju added that he has improvised a lot in Premam. “There is a part about Sunny Wayne in a scene which is not in the movie but the censored copy. It happened on location at the time. That dialogue happened while I was saying the dialogue. People saw that scene when the censor copy leaked. When some people text me, they say, 'Cheta Sunny Wayne's scene is hilarious’. In return, I often ask him if he has seen the censor copy. I have tried to bring some such stupid improvisations into JoJo's character;” said Siju.
Siju Wilson was last seen in the film Sara’s. The character played by Siju was well received. The actor is gearing up for his next release Varayan.
