Silambarasan’s ‘Corona Kumar’ Is Confirmed By Producer Ishari Ganesh

Simbu's forthcoming film 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' will be released in theatres on September 15. Simbu and Siddhi Idnani star in the film, which is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. The trailer and music for the film were released last Friday, September 2nd, in Chennai.

Producer Ishari K Ganesh announced at the event that after 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu,' he will also be producing Simbu's next film, named 'Corona Kumar.' This is hardly breaking news to fans or moviegoers since the rumor has been going on for quite some time. However, there was a speculation a few weeks ago that the film had been canceled and Simbu would not be appearing in it. However, the producer has officially announced that the film will begin production shortly, shattering all myths and rumors. According to sources, Gokul will helm the film, which would star Simbu as the male protagonist. It is also claimed that Aditi Shankar would portray the film's female lead. 'Corona Kumar' was first believed to be a romantic comedy and a spin-off sequel to Vijay Sethupathi's 'Idharkku Thaane Aasaipattai Balakumara.'
