Silambarasan’s ‘Pathu Thala’ Resumes Shooting In Mysore

Silambarasan took a break from filming for a few months to accompany his father, T Rajendar, to the United States for medical reasons. After his father's recovery, the busy actor has returned to Chennai and is eager to continue his film job. Obeli N Krishna will direct his next film, 'Pathu Thala,' an adaptation of the Kannada classic 'Mufti.'

Due to Silambarasan's absence, the director has left certain sections to film with the actor, and hence the shooting of sequences starring Silambarasan and other actors will begin today. As a result, filming has resumed in Mysore's Bellary palace in Karnataka.

It is worth mentioning that the filming for Raghava Lawrence's 'Chandramukhi 2' is also taking place at the same site. Thus the two prominent actors may cross paths in between their shoots.

Silambarasan will be growing a thick beard for his part as criminal AGR in 'Pathu Thala.' At the same time, Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and other key actors will join the ongoing shoot. The filming of 'Pathu Thala' is likely to be completed by August, and it is unknown what Silambarasan's next project will be.

Silambarasan and director Gokul launched 'Corona Kumar' a year ago, but there has been no word about the project since then.
