Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor to release on Ramzan

Sivakarthikeyan has been waiting for the release of his upcoming film Doctor. The film, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, stars Sivakarthikeyan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Vinay Rai and Archana Chandhoke in lead roles. The film was slated to hit the theatres on March 26. However, due to the impending Tamil Nadu elections, the release of the film had to be postponed. Now, the producers of Doctor issued a press statement saying that the film will release on the special occasion of Ramzon this year. Doctor is tipped to be a thriller based on organ trafficking.

The press statement read, "We've got a release date! A bigger and a better one. Get ready to witness Dr Varun and co in Doctor on the special occasion of Ramzan - a grand festival release. We're going to take this time to sharpen our knives and refill our syringes. In the meantime, we urge you to take the effort to go and vote. Vote responsibly. Let every vote count. See you in theatres!" Doctor marks Nelson's second film. The film's shooting had to be delayed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Now, Doctor is all set to hit the theatres on a festival.
