Sivakarthikeyan's Prince Likely To End Its Theatrical Run By The Second Week Of Its Release

Last Diwali, the Sivakarthikeyan-starring movie "Prince" made its theatrical debut. It was the actor's first Diwali release. The movie's path has been up and down since day one. It is due to the audience's mixed reactions.

"Prince" only made less than a crore in Tamil Nadu on the seventh day of its release. The film starring Sivakarthikeyan earned Rs 40 crore at the box office worldwide in week 1. The movie made Rs 10 crore at the box office on day 1 in India. From there, it steadily lost money. It earned Rs 9 crore on day 2, Rs 8 crore on day 3, Rs 5 crore on day 4, Rs 3 crore on day 5, and less than Rs 1 crore on day 6. According to rumours, theatres in Tamil Nadu intend to limit the number of showtimes to a maximum of two per day. It is due to the fact that the movie's gross receipts have been drastically cut.

As per reviews, Sivakarthikeyan is the lone bright spot of the movie. Fans of director Anudeep were dissatisfied because they anticipated a picture better than his previous effort, "Jathi Ratnalu". Fans were let down by his mediocre screenplay. Premgi Amaren and Maria Ryaboshapka both give their best performances in their respective roles. Composer Thaman gave the movie the necessary energy with his score.

As per the reports, Sardar is the Diwali winner from Kollywood.
