Director-turned-actor SJ Suryah will make his OTT debut with the web series "Vadhandhi: The legend of Velonie". It is directed by Andrew Louis, who also directed Kolaigaran. Today, November 22, the much-anticipated the makers of "Vadhandhi - The Fable of Velonie" released it's trailer. From December 2 the eight-episode Tamil criminal thriller will have its premiere in India and 240 other countries and territories.
The series will be available in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The trailer gives us a glimpse into the path of a determined cop named Vivek, played by S.J. Suryah. He becomes hooked on figuring out who killed Velonie, an 18 years old. The series Vadhandhi, examines the fallibility of interpersonal connections and perceptions while unravelling a web of lies and deceit.
It's interesting to note that actress Laila, who recently made a comeback on screen in the Karthi-starring movie Sardar, is also making her OTT debut with this series. Sanjanna, Vivek Prasanna, and Nasser also have significant roles in Vadhandhi. According to reports, the series is a gripping noir drama about the murder of a beautiful young woman. It is seen from the Rashomon-like perspectives of a relentlessly obsessed police officer, a novelist mesmerised by her grace, and an opportunistic news editor.
