SS Rajamouli’s new film ‘RRR’ starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR will have a new release date. The film was set to release on October 13. Makers postponed the release date due to theatres being not fully functional.
Makers have not revealed the new release date yet. The film’s post-production works are currently underway. Makers said that they will announce the new release soon.
“Post-production was nearly done to have #RRRMovie ready by October’21. But as known to many, we are postponing the release but cannot announce a new date with theatres indefinitely closed. We will release at the earliest possible date when the world cinema markets are up and running;” wrote the makers on the official Twitter page of RRR Movie.
Reportedly, the makers have decided to push the release of RRR to next year. This is after the distributors asked Rajamouli to postpone the film’s release date.
Earlier, makers had released a song named Dosti in five languages and featured five performers. Expectations have been high on this movie since Rajamouli started it with two of Tollywood’s finest actors.
In RRR, Jr NTR portrays a tribal man modeled on Komaram Bheem, while Ram Charan portrays Alluri Sitaramaraju, a police officer. Alia Bhatt will play the role of Ram Charan’s wife Sita. In the film, Olivia Morris, Shriya Saran, Ajay Devgn, and others play important roles.
