Sudha Kongara recently revealed details about her future collaboration with Suriya, indicating that it will be a gangster story based on actual events.
Sudha Kongara's boxing drama 'Irudhi Suttru,' starring Madhavan, captured everyone's attention. The outstanding director's 'Soorarai Pottru' starring Suriya received five National Film Awards, including her National Award for Best Feature Film. Sudha Kongara recently divulged details about her upcoming project alongside Suriya, revealing that it will be a periodic gangster tale based on real-life incidents. However, because both Suriya and the talented filmmaker have previously agreed on responsibilities, the reunion may take some time.
Sudha Kongara is now directing the Hindi adaptation of 'Soorarai Pottru,' which stars Akshay Kumar in the character of Suriya. Meanwhile, National Award-winning actor Suriya also appears in the remade version as a cameo, and he just filmed for his part.
On the other hand, Suriya is collaborating with filmmaker Bala on 'Vanagan,' and the film's final schedule will begin shortly in Goa. The project reunites the actor and the filmmaker after almost 20 years. The duo had previously collaborated for Nandha (2001) and Pithamagan (2003). Vanangaan features Krithi Shetty and Mamitha Baiju in pivotal roles. The versatile actor has also agreed to appear in 'Vaadivaasal,' directed by Vetri Maaran. Suriya is also rumored to be working on a high-budget commercial picture with filmmaker Siruthai Siva.
