Salman Khan has repeatedly given many large-scale hits in the past couple of years. Among many of his other films Salman Khan is now known well for his Dabbang franchise. Salman plays the role of Chulbul Pandey who is a quirky but honest cop. The films also star Sonakshi Sinha, and Sonu Sood among other actors and actresses. The superhit franchise is now getting an animated remake of its own. Yesterday actor and producer Arbaz Khan confirmed the news that his brother's Dabbang franchise will soon be ready as an animated feature film.
Talking about the need for an animated remake Arbaaz Khan said, "Dabangg’s biggest USP is that it is a complete family entertainer and, thus, the next logical step to further grow the franchise was to enter the animation space. The medium offers unparalleled creative freedom with storytelling, and we can focus on shorter standalone stories in lieu of longer, linear narratives. Chulbul’s persona is larger than life and in animation his adventures will be showcased as never seen before." Arbaaz Khan has produced all three live action Dabbang films.
Arbaaz Khan also revealed that Maya studios will be handling the project. Meanwhile Salman Khan is spending his time with his family and friends in his Panvel farmhouse. Salman Khan will next appear on the big screen in Prabhudeva's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Salman Khan has also regularly helped various communities in need during the pandemic. The actor recently donated Eid rations to 5000 families in Mumbai.
