Many shared their pictures of getting the first jab and urged everyone to take the vaccine. Joining the lists are Suriya and Jyotika, who got their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine on June 22.
Suriya, on June 22 night, took to social media to share a couple of pictures from the hospital where he received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. His actress-wife Jyotika accompanied him and also got vaccinated. A few months ago, Suriya was diagnosed with Covid-19 and had to get hospitalized for treatment. After a few days of hospitalization, he recovered from the deadly virus. At the moment, Suriya is waiting for the release of Navarasa, a Netflix anthology. The anthology will release in August. Also, he is waiting to resume the shoot of director Pandiraj's upcoming film, which is tentatively titled Suriya 40. He also has a film with director Vetri Maaran titled Vaadi Vaasal.
