Suriya and director Bala have teamed up to make the movie "Vanangan". It has already begun production in 2021. There were rumours that the movie had been placed on hold after finishing the main schedule in May. However, now reports suggest that the movie will pick back up soon. Shihan Hussaini, who is well known for his work in the films "Badri" and "Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal" is a part of the cast in a pivotal role in "Vanangan". In an interview with a media house, the actor stated that filming of the film would soon resume.
"I am happy to be a part of 'Vanangan'. The team has asked me to experiment with a new look for the film. I have been preparing for it. The shooting might resume anytime," Shihan Hussaini says.
Bala directs the movie 'Vanangan'. Suriya reportedly portrays the role of a fisherman. Krithi Shetty plays the leading lady, making her Tamil debut. According to reports, Suriya plays a character who has hearing and speech impairments.
Shihan Hussaini also opened up about his on-screen comeback with 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal'. "I had no plans to return to acting, but Vignesh Shivan convinced me to act in 'KVRK'. Working with Nayanthara was indeed a learning experience. She is a down-to-earth person. Similarly, Vijay Sethupathi is a dedicated actor. He is willing to go for multiple takes, and makes sure he delivers what the director wants. "
