Thaman confirms film with Thalapathy Vijay

Composer Thaman is one of the most sought-after music directors in the country. He received international recognition after the mammoth success of the Ala Vaikuntapurramloo album. The songs Butta Bomma, Ramuloo Ramula, and Samajavaragamana went crazy viral and even managed to impress people who do not know the language. For the last few years, Thaman has been hinting at working with Thalapathy Vijay for a film. The rumors went viral especially after Thaman posted a picture with Vijay which was taken at the actor's residence.

Recently, Thaman conducted a Ask Me Anything session on Twitter with his fans. One of his fans asked if he would collaborate with Vijay soon. Thaman replied to the question with a yes, which indicates that the composer will sign a film soon. Also, he revealed his favourite Vijay song. Thaman revealed that Vijay's Aal Thota Bhoopathi from Youth. Earlier, Thaman was supposed to compose music for Vijay's film with AR Murugadoss. Since Murugadoss backed out of the film due to creative differences with Sun Pictures, the film didn't materialize.
