“New stories are told by new directors. That's not to say old directors aren't telling new stories. They will be willing to take any risk as the newcomers have nothing to lose. That means telling a very experimental story or a novel story. Newcomer directors should not tell the story from the safe zone. "Rorschach" is such a story. When that happens, we get a different role. As an actor, that's what we want. Try something new,” says Mammootty.
Mammootty added that he encourages new directors. “If you see a still, you can somehow understand all the characters to some extent”. Mammootty says in an interview that he is encouraging new directors, “thinking that films with stories and characters can make a difference like that.”
