TSFDC incorporates single-window system for film shootings in Telangana

Telangana State Film Development Corporation has incorporated new regulations pertaining to film shootings in the state. From now on, filmmakers will have to submit applications online to acquire permissions to use locations for shooting.

Two new portals tsfilm.telangana.gov.in and pass.telangana.gov.in have been opened up for this single-window system.

As per the latest Government Order passed by the department of general administration, appropriate prices have been fixed for issuing permissions for film shootings. Shooting in locations which come under GHMC limits will cost Rs 30,000 per day for 8 hours and an additional Rs 4000 per extra hour. The charges for shooting at major parks in Hyderabad have been fixed at Rs 15,000. Shooting in the KBR park walkway, Jubilee hills will cost Rs 10,000.
To shoot at the newly inaugurated Durgam Cheruvu cable bridge and surrounding areas, movie units will have to shell out Rs 20,000 per day. Shooting at Jannaram guest house in Adilabad, Qutub Shah tombs, Malakpet, and Ramalingeshwara temple in Keesaragutta will cost Rs 10,000, Rs 15,000, Rs 15,000, and Rs 10,000 respectively.
Telangana State Film Development Corporation will be the nodal agency to issue permission for film shootings.
The single-window system will be applicable for locations falling under the premises governed by the department of the Home ministry, GHMC, HMWSSB, HMDA, and Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation.
