Urvashi Rautela is the latest among many Bollywood celebrities to have their film go for a digital release. Rautela is soon going to star in the film Virgin Bhanupriya. Rautela herself believes that the experience of watching the film online will be no less exciting than in theatres.
In a recent interview with IANS Rautela said, "The experience of watching Virgin Bhanupriya on a digital platform will be no less than watching the film in theatres. It's exciting that at least the film is ready and a lot of people will see it. What better than a digital platform or an OTT platform, which is going to go across 200 territories worldwide? It's like a world premiere to me. More people will watch it."
Rautela's latest film also stars Gautam Gulati, Archana Puran Singh, Delnaaz Irani, Rajiv Gupta, Brijendra Kala, Niki Aneja Walia and Rumana Molla.
Ever since the Coronavirus pandemic hit India in February theatres across the country are shut. This has severely affected all sorts of people in the Bollywood industry. Another film going straight to digital is Ghoomketu. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Anurag Kashyap in the lead role. Ghoomketu also has guest appearances by Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, and Amitabh Bachchan. The film will soon premiere on Zee5.
