Veteran actor Senthil affected by Covid-19

Of late, many celebrities in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi film industries have been affected by the novel coronavirus. Recently, veteran actor Senthil has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He is currently admitted to a private hospital in Kaatangulathur in Chennai for treatment. Reportedly, Senthil fell ill and had developed symptoms of the novel coronavirus. He was tested for Covid-19 and his test results turned out to be positive. Later, he was immediately hospitalised due to his age and other factors. Senthil is now receiving treatment at the hospital for the same.

Senthil is currently in a stable condition and is expected to be discharged in two to three days, based on his doctor's advice. Senthil is one of the prolific comedy actors who was famous for his onscreen collaboration with Goundamani. In the recently concluded Tail Nadu Assembly Elections, Senthil campaigned for the AIADMK and BJP alliance. It is possible that he could have picked up the virus while touring Tamil Nadu for campaigning. Senthil has also done some serious roles in films.
