Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor, Karthik Aryan, Varun Dhawan and others posts about Rishi Kapoor; Last Rites take place in Mumbai

Rishi Kapoor 's demise pushed the movie industry into a big disappointment. There is no actor like him and the empire he created has no boundaries. Rishi Kapoor is dear to all the young actors in Bollywood, who are the competitors of Ranbir Kapoor. Many of them also worked with Rishi Kapoor in many films. Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Varun Dhawan, and others recollected some fond memories they had with Rishi.

Varun Dhawan shared, "I was just in awe facing him in a scene. Sid and I would always discuss that we shouldn’t mess up our lines. He was a professional and always loving rip Chintu uncle."

Pulkit Samrat wrote, "Terrible loss!! He was a baby in front of the camera.. always excited to give his best shot!! This is terrible!! Terrible!!!! #RipRishiKapoor"

"You will always be in our hearts, sir. Your charm your warmth and your unforgettable performances will give light to us all in the darkest moments. Deepest condolences to Neetuji, Ranbir, and the entire family." wrote Shahid Kapoor on Twitter.

Karthik Aryan shared a memory, saying, "On Kaanchi, I asked Subhash Ji to let me assist him. The crew would make fun of me because I only worked when Rishi sir was on set. I took the clapboard duty to be able to stand as close to him as possible. I’m blessed to have witnessed that spontaneity, energy, and true greatness up close. Rishi sir’s charm was magnetic. RIP #RishiJi"

"Absolutely shattered and heart broke to wake up to the news of the loss of Rishi Kapoor Ji, one of the liveliest persons amongst us. The last time when I met him in NY, he was fighting the battle like a boss, with Neetu Ma’m by his side and a smile on his face. This is utterly tragic and incomprehensible. My condolences to Ranbir, Neetu Ma’m, and the entire family. May his soul be resting in peace and raising a toast to a life well lived with the Gods in heaven." posted Vicky Kaushal.

Rishi Kapoor's last rites to be performed at Chandanwadi Crematorium in Kalbadevi, Mumbai.
