Tv and Hindi film actress Meera Deosthale has revealed that she wants to experiment with new roles in her future upcoming films. Deosthale is best known for her role in the critically acclaimed 2010 film Udaan. Vikramaditya Motwane helmed Udaan also stars Rajat Barmecha, Ronit Roy and Ram Kapoor. Now Deosthale has said that she wants to do roles that she has never done before.
Meera last starred in the social drama show Vidya where she plays an illiterate village girl.
The actress said, "The journey was half lived but I learnt a lot. It was a totally different environment and an unconventional character. Everyday was a challenge to keep the innocence and purity of Vidya alive in every scene."
"I understand that the network is going through an economy crunch. And of course, we all wish to keep working. I guess it's a testing time, and I have always believed that whatever happens, happens for a reason. I shall stay safe for a while in my house and wait for work opportunities to come by, " she added.
She concluded saying, "I would love to be experimental. And anything that's different than what I have done up till now. Am looking forward to doing a web series. Would be a new kind of experience."
Recently Meera also spoke about the dangers of the show biz. Meera said that the industry is very toxic when someone does not have enough contacts. Meera's comments came after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput due to depression.
