Vikram Enjoys Shooting In Hogenakal For The Pa. Ranjith Movie Thangalaan

Earlier in October, Chiyaan Vikram and director Pa Ranjith began filming for their upcoming movie, "Thangalaan". It was earlier tentatively titled as "Chiyaan 61." The movie is described as a period drama from the 1800s and the crew is filming it on a large scale. The team has been filming in Hogenakal Falls. It appears that actor Chiyaan Vikram is enjoying himself on the sets.

It can be translated to, "Today, we were shooting near Hogenakal for 'Thangalaan'. It would be an understatement to say that it was difficult. The water kept inviting us. So once I heard 'Pack Up' I jumped into the water. Will I leave my friends?! Alas, some people who were afraid of not wanting to, refused to leave the last water."
 
Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Pasupathy Masilamani are also featured in the upcoming film. The technical crew includes cameraman Kishore Kumar and composer GV Prakash.
 
The movie will also be shot in 3D, according to producer Gnanavel Raja, who is funding the project under his Studio Green label. He added that the movie is being prepared on an enormous scale and would also be shot in Hindi. The team also intends to shoot in 3D, which will be an audience treat in terms of visuals.
