"Christopher" is a new film directed by B Unnikrishnan, with Mammootty in the lead role. The new character poster for the film "Christopher" has been released. The poster of the villainous character "Sitaram Trimurthy," played by South Indian actor Vinay Rai, has been released. The poster features the villain's faceless character with the tagline "The Antagonist."

 
Vinay Rai is acting in Malayalam for the first time. Christopher will hit theatres with the tagline "Biography of a Vigilante Cop." The cinematography of the film is by Faiz Siddique. "Christopher" is a film scripted by Udaya Krishna.
 
The film Christopher is produced by RD Illuminations LLP. The film has three heroines, namely Amala Paul, Sneha, and Aishwarya Rai. Dileesh Pothan, Siddique, Jinu Abraham, Vineeta Kosi, and other stars are in the film. Justin Varghese composed "Christopher's" music.

Meanwhile, Mammootty's last film to hit theatres was the super hit film Rorschach. The film, directed by Nizam basheer, was a huge hit in theatres. Rorschach gained appreciation from audience and critics alike. The film starred Sharaf U Dheen, Grace Antony and others in major roles. Maammootty's Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam was screened at the 27th IFFK as well. Kathal has finished shooting and is gearing up for release.
