Actress Arthana Binu says that news about her private life in some online media is fake. Arthana Binu said in an Instagram video that cyberbullying is rampant. Since the release of her first Malayalam film Muddugau, fake news has been circulating in the online media under various headlines. She shared a 10 minutes long video on Instagram and talked about fake news.
When Muddugau was released in 2016, she was interviewed by a few media. “A newspaper and asked my name. I said Arthana Binu and they asked, Why is your name Arthana Binu, are you not Vijayakumar's daughter? I said I don’t want to say more about my father, does not everyone have a personal interest? The next question was what advice did Vijayakumar give while preparing to act in the film. I said we can talk about something else. I did not want to say personal things. Then they asked many questions and I replied. Since then, I have seen in many online media that I do not want to acknowledge that I’m Vijayakumar's daughter”- says Arthana Binu.
Arthana Binu is an Indian cinema actress who has appeared in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu films. She is from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She is the daughter of actor Vijayakumar who was present during the ’90s.
