Radhe Shyam, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The movie unit recently commenced the final schedule in Hyderabad and the entire filming part will be wrapped up with this schedule.
Coming to the topic, OTT giants ZEE5 and Netflix have reportedly spent big bucks on the post-theatrical digital rights of the Prabhas. While ZEE5 bagged the Telugu, Tamil, and other South Indian-language digital rights of Radhe Shyam, Netflix acquired the rights of the Hindi version.
Both Netflix and ZEE5 are said to have cumulatively spent upwards of Rs 100 crores for the digital rights of the Radha Krishna Kumar directorial. The exact financial details behind the deal are undisclosed for obvious reasons. T-Series Entertainments who are associated with the project are said to have played an instrumental role in the materialization of the digital rights deal.
Radhe Shyam shoot is expected to be wrapped up by early this July. UV Creations who are bankrolling the project are planning to release it in theatres by the end of this year. The intense love drama is being mounted on a budget of over Rs 250 crores.
