After 'Modi And Nenu', it’s 'Jagan Ane Nenu'
As per the government's order Tuesday, all Government, MPP, and Zilla Parishad schools in Andhra Pradesh will get converted to English medium.
For the past few months, we have been witnessing heavy traffic fines for the violation of traffic rules. Thousands of rupees are being imposed as penalties from the defaulters. Then, the social media went ablaze with many memes in which Modi had seen inspired by the movie, 'Bharat Ane Nenu', in which Mahesh Babu played the role of Chief Minister.
Now, from one of the major ports discussed in that movie, Jagan’s government announced that they are going to implement one. As per the government's order Tuesday, all Government, MPP, and Zilla Parishad schools in Andhra Pradesh will get converted to English medium. Teachers will get training and equipment to teach in English.
The move will come into force for standards I to VIII from the next academic year, i.e. 2020-21 and for standards IX and X from the academic year 2012-22. The government has entrusted powers to the Commissioner of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, to open parallel English Medium sections in high schools for Classes VI to X.
The Commissioner of School Education shall take efforts to implement Telugu or Urdu as a compulsory subject depending on the current medium of instruction in the schools.
