Mahindra Group's Chairman Anand Mahindra on Monday made a statement on his Twitter. He's "ashamed to confess" he didn't know Tamil is the world's oldest living language until PM Narendra Modi said this at the UN.

 
"I attended a boarding school in Udhagamandalam (Ooty) & should've studied Tamil," Mahindra wrote in another tweet. "Unfortunately, from schoolmates, I learned only some words of abuse," he added.
 
Tamil civilization at Keezhadi near Madurai, with the recent excavation in 2019 was around 600 BC. The Grafitti discovered has shown clear evidence of Indus (4000 BC) as Tamil Civilization to make it around 7000 years old. With this, some of the Tamilians demand the center to make Tamil the official language of India.
