Andhra Pradesh government extends lockdown, continues same regulations

The government of Andhra Pradesh has passed orders related to the extension of the ongoing state-wide lockdown till the 10th of June. The regulations which are in place now will be in effect till the above-mentioned date.

 
The common public will be allowed to carry out basic activities and buy essential products between 6 AM and 12 PM. The prohibitory orders will be coming to effect post 12 PM. Any unnecessary and unauthorized movement shall be strictly prohibited.
 
There is a slight modification in lockdown regulations in the Chittoor district, which is registering an alarming spike in Covid cases despite the lockdown. Starting from 1st May, the public will be permitted to go out only between 6 AM and 10 AM.
 
The final call on whether or not to extend the forthcoming lockdown will be taken by the state government by the end of the first week of June.
 
The state government also plans to ramp up the vaccination drive if the Center provides medical authorities with adequate supplies.
