BCCI invites applications for coach and supporting staff, Shastri have to re-apply
The BCCI invites fresh applications for the Indian cricket team's support staff, including the head coach. Ravi Shastri will need to reapply once his contract expires after India's next month's tour of the West Indies. Shastri was appointed India chief coach in 2017 after Anil Kumble's tenure ended prematurely.
According to the eligibility criteria for Team India head coach, a candidate should've coached a full-member Test-playing nation for at least two years or a domestic side for at least three years. Further, the candidate should be below 60 years of age. He should've played at least 30 Tests or 50 ODIs, or should have BCCI Level 3 Certification.
The current coaching staff of Team India (Senior Men) will get an automatic entry in the recruitment process.
"The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) would like to call upon interested candidates to apply for the following positions for the senior India Men’s team," says BCCI in its official press release.

· Fielding Coach
· Strength and Conditioning Coach
