India wins their first-ever Day-Night Test and white washes series against Bangladesh

India defeated Bangladesh in their first-ever Day-Night Test on Sunday to record their fourth straight victory by an innings and 46 runs in Kolkata's Eden Gardens. India clinched the two-match series 2-0 and win seven Tests in a row for the first time. They also extended their winning streak in the World Test Championship to seven Test matches.

India is on top of the points table with 360 points and followed by Australia, who have accumulated 116 points. This is also the third straight time India completed a series whitewash after defeating West Indies 2-0 and South Africa 3-0.

Virat Kohli-led India also became the first-ever team in Test cricket history to win four consecutive Test matches by a margin of an innings. Kohli also became the first Indian captain to win seven consecutive Test matches. India has now won 33 Tests under Kohli.

After leading India to a win in the nation's first-ever Day/Night Test, captain Virat Kohli said, "Only your belief can make you win. If you feel fast bowlers are not in the game then you are already into a negative mindset." Kohli added, "These guys are very hungry and I feel we are in the right kind of space."
