India women’s hockey team qualifies for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics on SRK’s birthday
Ex-India opener Virender Sehwag took to Twitter to wish actor Shah Rukh Khan on his 54th birthday and also congratulate Indian women's hockey team for qualifying for the 2020 Olympics.
The Indian women’s hockey team has qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics despite a 1-4 loss to the US in the second leg of the qualifier which had played at the Kalinga Stadium in Odisha. India qualified for the Olympics on a 6-5 aggregate, as they had won the first leg of the qualifier on Friday by a 5-1 margin.

Following close behind the women’s team, India’s men’s team has also qualified for the Tokyo games after beating Russia 11-3 on aggregate. The Indian men, ranked fifth in the world, had earlier defeated world number 22 Russia 4-2 in the first-leg on Friday.
