Indian tennis player Sumit Nagal, who faced 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer in US Open, won Buenos Aires Challenger title and jumped to a career-best rank of 135.

After the victory, the 22-year-old said he was all alone in the Argentinian city. "I am really sad. [Coach and physio] were not there to help me out. One way, it has been great that I have been playing good tennis but it's not easy to do it and I'm really sad," he added.
He earlier thanked Team Indian Virat Kohli for his financial support through his academy when he was in crisis before his Grand Slam debut in US Open. Though Nagal gets support from Virat Kohli Foundation it does not cover all expenses that a tennis player needs.
It has been evident with the recent performers of the Indian Tennis players in grand stages that they are not getting enough support form the sports council whatsoever.
